PREVENTION OF PD3I DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC WITH NATIONAL CHILDHOOD IMMUNIZATION (BIAN) MONTH AT POSYANDU INSTRUCTIONS OF PUSKESMAS PONDOK BETUNG TANGERANG SELATAN

Abstract


ABSTRACT

 

The results of a survey of 5,300 medical institutions in Indonesia by the Ministry of Health and UNICEF found that 84% of child immunization services had been disrupted due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The survey also showed that the coverage rate for basic immunization in Indonesia in April 2020 decreased by 60% compared to April last year. Based on the factors above, it is necessary to prevent PD3I by implementing the National Child Immunization Month (BIAN) and School Children Immunization Month (BIAS) in the community during the Covid19 pandemic. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase knowledge of the importance of vaccination in children. In addition, this activity was carried out to support the South Tangerang City Government program in fulfilling vaccination coverage during the Covid-19 pandemic. This activity was carried out at the Pondok Betung Health Center, South Tangerang, with the target participants being the Infant Toddler Posyandu assisted by the Pondok Betung Health Center. The results of the evaluation of the BIAN and BIAS activities were that participants were willing and played an active role in participating in counseling, 70% of mothers who attended counseling could participate actively in listening to counseling. Increased knowledge of participants about the importance of immunization and the dangers of PD3I. The participants were so enthusiastic because in addition to getting counseling for babies and toddlers, they got direct immunization for their babies or toddlers.

PENCEGAHAN PD3I DIMASA PANDEMI COVID 19 DENGAN BULAN IMUNISASI ANAK NASIONAL (BIAN) DI POSYANDU BINAAN PUSKESMAS PONDOK BETUNG TANGERANG SELATAN

 

ABSTRAK

 

Hasil survei dari 5.300 institusi medis di Indonesia oleh Kemenkes dan UNICEF bahwa  84% layanan imunisasi anak telah terganggu akibat pandemi Covid-19. Survei tersebut juga menunjukan bahwa tingkat cakupan imunisasi dasar di Indonesia pada April 2020 mengalami penurunan sebesar 60% dibandingkan April tahun lalu. Berdasarkan faktor diatas maka perlu dilakukan pencegahan PD3I dengan pelaksanaan Bulan Imunisasi Anak Nasional (BIAN) dan Bulan Imunisasi Anak sekolah (BIAS) pada masyarakat dimasa pandemi Covid19 ini. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu meningkatkan pengetahuan pentingnya vaksinasi pada anak. Selain itu kegitan ini dilaksakan untuk mendukung program Pemerintah Kota Tangerang Selatan dalam memenuhi cakupan vaksinasi dimasa pandemi Covid-19. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Puskesmas Pondok Betung Tangerang Selatan dengan sasaran pesertanya yaitu Posyandu Bayi Balita binaan Puskesmas Pondok Betung. Hasil evaluasi dari kegiatan BIAN dan BIAS ialah peserta bersedia dan berperan aktif mengikuti penyuluhan, 70 % Ibu yang mengikuti penyuluhan dapat berperan serta secara aktif dalam mendengarkan  penyuluhan. Meningkatnya pengetahuan peserta mengenai penting nya imunisasi dan bahaya PD3I. Peserta begitu antusias karena selain mendapatkan penyuluhan bayi dan balita mendapatkan imunisasi langsung untuk bayi atau balita nya.
