EFEKTIVITAS PENYULUHAN METODE CERAMAH UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PENGETAHUAN MASYARAKAT TERHADAP PENYAKIT TUBERKULOSIS

Abstract


The END TB program is expected to be able to reduce the incidence of TB in the world by 80% in 2030 compared to 2015, reduce the mortality rate by 90% in 2030 compared to 2015, and zero costs that need to be incurred by TB sufferers in the context of treating the disease. The TB control program is still a priority. The government and the community are increasing collaborative efforts to prevent and treat TB. Therefore, efforts are needed, one of which is Health Education on Tuberculosis Prevention in the Community. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of lecture method outreach on public knowledge about tuberculosis. The research design used in this study was preexperimental one group pretest and posttest. The population in this study is the Mekarsari community assisted by Posyandu Flamboyan Bekasi. The sample in this study amounted to 30 people. Researchers conducted counseling 4 times. Based on the results of discussing counseling with the lecture method it is effective in increasing public knowledge about tuberculosis. So, through the results of this research, stakeholders need to provide outreach on the lecture method to provide understanding to the public about tuberculosis.

Program END TB diharapkan mampu mengurangi  insidens TB di dunia sebanyak 80% pada tahun 2030 dibandingkan tahun 2015, menurunkan angka mortalitas sebanyak 90% pada tahun 2030 dibandingkan tahun 2015, dan nol biaya yang perlu dikeluarkan oleh penderita TB dalam rangka pengobatan penyakitnya. Program  penanggulangan   TB   masih menjadi prioritas. Pemerintah bersama masyarakat meningkatkan upaya kolaborasi untuk upaya pencegahan dan penanganan TB. Oleh karena itu diperlukan upaya salah satunya dengan Penyuluhan Kesehatan Pencegahan Tuberkulusis di Masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penyuluhan metode ceramah terhadap pengetahuan masyarakat tentang tuberkulosis. Desain penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah preexperimental one group pretest and postest. Populasi pada penelitian ini masyarakat Mekarsari binaan Posyandu Flamboyan Bekasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 30 orang. Peneliti melakukan penyuluhan sebanyak 4 kali. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan penyuluhan dengan metode ceramah efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai penyakit tuberkulosis. Sehingga melalui hasil penelitian ini pemangku kepentingan perlu melakukan penyuluhan metode ceramah untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat mengenai tuberkulosis.
