PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN KOMBINASI CERAMAH DAN VIDEO ANIMASI TERHADAP PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP PENCEGAHAN HIV/AIDS DIKELURAHAN KAMPUNG SAWAH
Abstract
ABSTRACT
Background: HIV/AIDS remains a major global public health problem, with the number of cases continuing to increase each year. According to UNAIDS data (2023), approximately 39.9 million people worldwide were living with HIV, with 1.3 million new cases reported in the same year. In Indonesia, the Ministry of Health (2024) reported that the five provinces with the highest number of HIV cases are West Java, Central Java, East Java, DKI Jakarta, and Banten. South Tangerang City is among the areas with a relatively high number of HIV/AIDS cases. Low levels of knowledge and negative attitudes toward HIV/AIDS prevention among the community are contributing factors that accelerate the spread of the disease. Aim: This study aimed to determine and analyze the effect of health education using a combination of lectures and animated videos on improving community knowledge and attitudes toward HIV/AIDS prevention in Kampung Sawah Subdistrict, South Tangerang City.
Method: This study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The population consisted of 30 community members in Kampung Sawah Subdistrict, selected using an accidental sampling technique. Data were collected using knowledge and attitude questionnaires administered before and after the intervention. Data analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon test for knowledge variables and the paired sample t-test for attitude variables, with a significance level of p < 0.05.
Result: The results showed a significant improvement in respondents’ knowledge and attitudes after receiving health education using a combination of lectures and animated video media. The Wilcoxon test indicated a statistically significant difference in knowledge scores before and after the intervention (p = 0.000), while the paired sample t-test showed a significant difference in attitude scores (p = 0.031).
Suggestion: This health education method is recommended to be implemented sustainably in community-level health promotion programs and further developed through future studies using stronger research designs and larger sample sizes.

Latar Belakang: HIV/AIDS masih menjadi permasalahan kesehatan global dengan jumlah kasus yang terus meningkat setiap tahunnya. Berdasarkan data UNAIDS (2023), sebanyak 39,9 juta orang di seluruh dunia hidup dengan HIV dan terdapat 1,3 juta kasus baru pada tahun yang sama. Di Indonesia, laporan Kementerian Kesehatan (2024) menunjukkan lima provinsi dengan jumlah kasus HIV tertinggi yaitu Jawa Barat, Jawa Tengah, Jawa Timur, DKI Jakarta, dan Banten. Kota Tangerang Selatan termasuk dalam wilayah dengan kasus HIV/AIDS yang cukup tinggi. Rendahnya pengetahuan dan sikap masyarakat terhadap pencegahan HIV/AIDS menjadi salah satu faktor yang mempercepat penyebaran penyakit ini. Tujuan Penelitian: Mengetahui dan menganalisis Pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan kombinasi ceramah dan video animasi untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap masyarakat dalam upaya pencegahan HIV/AIDS melalui edukasi kesehatan yang komprehensif di Kelurahan Kampung Sawah, Kota Tangerang Selatan. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitaif dengan metode penelitian quasi experiment dengan one Group pre-test and post test design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 30 responden masyarakat di Kelurahan Kampung Sawah, penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel secara Accidental sampling. Analisa data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji wilcoxon dan . Berdasarkan analisa data dengan uji wilcoxon dengan derajat kemaknaan p<0,05 (5%) Hasil: hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap responden setelah diberikan pendidikan kesehatan menggunakan kombinasi audio dan video animasi. Uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan perbedaan yang bermakna pada skor pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi (p=0,000), sedangkan uji Paired Sample t-Test menunjukkan perbedaan bermakna pada skor sikap (p=0,031). Saran: metode Pendidikan kesehatan ini agar dapat diterapkan secara berkelanjutan dalam program promosi kesehatan di tingkat komunitas serta dikembangkan lebih lanjut melalui penelitian dengan desain yang lebih kuat dan cakupan responden yang lebih luas.
